A 16-year-old boy died in a shooting July 7 on Columbus’ North Side, police said.
Columbus police officers responded to a report of a shooting at 7:22 p.m. at East 18th Avenue and Dora Drive, according to a news release.
Medics transported Kevin Laurin, 16, to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting. Police have not shared any information about suspects or what might have lead up to the shooting.
