Spectrum customers may qualify for bill adjustments after outages

Internet outages are frustrating disruptions, and often there isn’t much to do besides wait for the connection to return.

But according to the Spectrum Residential Billing Department, you might qualify for an adjustment to your bill.

Depending on how many outages you experience, this is how to save a few extra dollars.

How to report an outage?

If you experience an outage lasting longer than two hours, call the 24/7 support line to speak with someone from the residential billing department at 833-949-0036.

What qualifies for a bill adjustment?

Staff in Residential Billing will confirm the outage on their end before reviewing your statement for an adjustment. A short, temporary drop in connection does not qualify for this change.

An outage must have lasted more than two hours and be confirmed by the billing department.

The amount that can be taken off your bill is determined by your monthly bill, which is then divided by 30 days.
