The child who was seriously injured in a crash on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island in mid-June has died from his injuries.
Boy died one week after crash
Four-year-old Christopher King-Morris was a passenger in the car that veered off the parkway and struck a tree on Wednesday, June 17, according to New York State Police. The boy died one week after the crash – on Wednesday June 24, troopers said.
Car crash on Southern State Parkway
The one-car crash occurred when a westbound car veered off the parkway and struck trees near Exit 20 (Grand Avenue) in Nassau County around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, troopers said. The driver and the child were trapped inside the car and were removed by emergency responders.
The medical status of the driver was not released.
