After firing Brian Daboll in the middle of the 2025 season, the New York Giants spent the 2026 offseason replacing the coaching staff and revamping the roster. Some familiar faces are gone, new ones have arrived, and they all share one common goal: To win.
One of the key additions is former Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely.
With Daniel Bellinger having left New York for Tennessee, and the Giants retaining Theo Johnson, Chris Manhertz, and Thomas Fidone, Likely is slated to start at tight end for Big Blue in 2026. With that in mind, Likely has announced he will attend the prestigious Tight End University (TEU), run by George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen.
Established in 2021, TEU brings tight ends together for a three-day immersive program. During that time, players bond, collaborate, and learn from one another while participating in film study, on-field drills, recovery sessions, rehabilitation work, and more.
Retired legends also provide attendees with the opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the position.
Likely played out his rookie contract with Baltimore and became a free agent on March 11. Former Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger had already agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans when the free agency period opened, so general manager Joe Schoen and head coach John Harbaugh wasted no time in bringing Likely aboard.
He arrived in New York to play for his former coach, John Harbaugh.
After spending the last four years as Mark Andrews’ backup in Baltimore, Likely now has the chance to be the Giants’ TE1 in 2026. Attending TEU will only help him prepare for and solidify that role.
