A Town of Wallkill man has been accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in Montgomery.
Town of Montgomery police said they arrested Ryan Geoffrey Hablow, 20, of Wallkill on June 16.
According to Montgomery police, they worked with the Orange County Child Abuse Unit on an investigation into a complaint that an adult male engaged in a sexual act with a 14-year-old victim.
As a result of that investigation, they arrested Hablow, who’s been charged with second-degree rape, a felony.
Hablow is being held at the Orange County jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, pending further court action.
The name of his attorney was not immediately available.
