Police said a Maple City man who was allegedly driving while impaired has been arrested in connection to a head-on crash that injured several people in Alfred on Tuesday, July 21.
According to police, the collision took place at approximately 10:57 a.m. on state Route 244 just past the Hamilton Road Extension.
Alfred Police said that a 2017 Hyundai, driven by Keegan M. Bradley, 32, of Hornell crossed the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Bradley was not injured in the crash but several occupants of the second vehicle were transported to area hospitals.
Police said all of the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. The names of the occupants have not been released.
Investigators allege that Bradley was impaired by drugs at the time of the crash.
Bradley was charged with first-degree vehicular assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, both class D felonies, and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Bradley was processed by the Alfred Police Department and transported to the Allegany County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
