Genre-bending American rock band Goose will take the stage at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Art Center on June 21, but a chance of showers and thunderstorms threaten to put a damper on the concert.
Goose just released its fourth studio album, “Everything Must Go,” in April and is currently amid a country-spanning tour, including a stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The June 21 concert will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Canandaigua NY weather forecast: What to expect for Goose concert at CMAC
The National Weather Service in Buffalo forecast for Canandaigua on June 21 calls for the chance of showers and thunderstorms through the 7 p.m. hour. Doors at CMAC open at 6 p.m., so it could be a wet start to the evening for those arriving ahead of the show.
Temperatures will start in the low 80s and decline slowly into the upper 70s, with relatively humidity greater than 60% and slowly rising throughout the concert.
AccuWeather forecast for Canandaigua NY
The AccuWeather forecast for Canandaigua on June 21 is more favorable, with less a chance of showers, with an 18% probability of precipitation and mostly cloudy skies. The temperatures are expected in the 80s and upper 70s, with very humid conditions.
AccuWeather doesn’t forecast any thunderstorms until 11 p.m., calling for warm and humid conditions but no rainfall as in the weather service forecast.
Goose CMAC concert: Tickets, details
Tickets for the Goose show at CMAC on June 21 can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com and range from around $50 to $145. The tickets for the May 23 show range from around $42 to $118, but there are fewer seated tickets available.
Doors for both shows will open at 6 p.m., and the performances will start at 7:30 p.m.
The venue is on the Finger Lakes Community College campus, located at 3355 Marvin Sands Drive.
