The New York Jets dug into their past with some of their offseason additions.
Quarterback Geno Smith and linebacker Demario Davis are back in New York once again in 2026. Their latest and current stint with the Jets began this past week as they both were in attendance during OTAs.
While chatting after practice, both players reflected on how it felt to be back in the green and white again.
Davis said he did not think “in a million years” he’d end up back with the Jets. Smith discussed how he reflected back to when the Jets originally drafted him in 2013.
“Great feelings, great memories,” Smith said.
Smith departed the Jets in 2016. Davis was drafted by the Jets in 2012 and left in 2015. In 2017, he was back in New York for a season and now he’s signed up for a third time.
