The Buffalo Bills will be keeping their assistant general manager.
The Minnesota Vikings held two interviews with Buffalo’s assistant GM Terrance Gray recently regarding their vacant general manager position.
As it turns out, the Vikings went in another direction.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Minnesota has hired Seattle Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasley to be their general manager instead:
Gray has spoken to or had interest expressed in his services relating to vacant general manager positions in recent offseasons but has remained with the Bills.
Gray began his career in Buffalo in 2017 when the team hired head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane. Since then, Gray has worked his way up through the organization.
Originally hired as the team’s director of college scouting, Gray was promoted to assistant director of player personnel then moved up again in 2022. That latter promotion came about when the New York Giants hired Joe Schoen as their general manager, who was previously Buffalo’s assistant general manager.
