Flower City Food Tours is now booking its tenth season of walking tours that explore the Rochester-area food scene. The 3-hour tours feature tastings at multiple establishments while highlighting historical, cultural and architectural points of interest along the way.
Fairport Village tours have resumed for the 2026 season; they were halted a few weeks into the 2025 season because of construction in the village.
This year’s tours and costs are:
∎ Park Avenue: Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
∎ Pittsford Village and Schoen Place: Thursdays at 12:45 p.m.
∎ Downtown after hours: Held Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m., this tour has three stops. The evening includes appetizers, craft cocktails, an entree, wine and dessert. A new addition to the tour this year is Gio’s Prime 26, the steakhouse in The Inn on Broadway.
∎ Fairport Village: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. A new addition to this tour is Bonnie & Clyde, which opened in the village’s Renaissance Revival-style bank building last year.
∎ Neighborhood of the Arts: Thursdays at 4 p.m.
Tours range in price from $74 to $89. Tickets must be purchased in advance; they take place rain or shine. The group size has a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 12.
Tour season runs from mid-May through October. Tour details and booking availability can be found at flowercityfoodtours.com or call (585) 363-2340.
