The Buffalo Bills have signed a running back that recently was a standout player on the gridiron.
Ian Wheeler, 24, is fresh off a United Football League title and championship game MVP with the Louisville Kings. Now he is a member of the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills then kept the momentum going for him and the team announced he had signed a deal in Buffalo on Thursday:
Wheeler originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Howard with the Chicago Bears in 2024. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve and then was on the New Orleans Saints practice in 2025.
In the UFL, Wheeler rushed for 540 yards in 11 games. He had averaged 6.35 yards per year.
