3 New York Giants named to Pete Prisco's top 100 players of 2026 list

CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco has officially released his list of the top 100 players in the NFL ahead of the 2026 season kickoff in September.

The New York Giants had three players featured on the list. Brian Burns, Andrew Thomas, and Malik Nabers represented Big Blue on the highly anticipated rankings, as each has established himself as a superstar during his time with the team.

Burns was the Giants’ highest-ranked player on the list at No. 56. The veteran linebacker had a historic year on New York’s defensive unit in 2025, and his somewhat low placement may come as a surprise to many.

In his second season with the Giants , he had a career-best 16.5 sacks. Burns is an explosive, twitchy edge player who can wreck a game. (Last season: NR)

Thomas is widely regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in football when healthy. The veteran was ranked No. 83 on the list, though a handful of injuries over the past few seasons have limited his availability.

When he’s on the field, he’s one of the best. The problem is he has missed 15 games over the past two seasons, including four last year. He has to stay on the field. (Last season: NR)

New York’s third and final player on the list is Nabers. The standout route runner is expected to bounce back strongly this season after suffering an ACL injury in 2025. Nabers will enter the regular season fully healthy, barring any setbacks during training camp, and the star playmaker was ranked No. 99.

He is coming off a season cut short by a torn ACL and recently underwent a second surgery. So there is reason for concern. But if he’s healthy, he will be much higher on this list next year. (Last season: No. 45)

The Giants’ trio of superstars shone on numerous occasions during the 2025 campaign. While Thomas and Nabers each missed significant time due to injury, all three will enter 2026 as top-100 players in the NFL, per Prisco.
