We’re past the midpoint of the 2026 WNBA season, and Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever remain in the hunt for the franchise’s first championship since 2012, according to oddsmakers.
WNBA All‑Star weekend wrapped up on July 25, as Clark and Teresa Weatherspoon’s team of All‑Stars beat Cynthia Cooper’s squad 129–122. Clark finished with 17 points, five assists and four rebounds in 21 minutes of action that was mostly casual, low‑effort basketball typical of an All‑Star game in 2026.
Indiana, 17-10, returns from its All-Star break on Tuesday, July 28, kicking off a three-game road trip against the Seattle Storm.
With 17 games remaining in the 2026 WNBA regular season, and a two‑week break in the league schedule from Aug. 31 to Sept. 16 for the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin, Germany, here are Clark and the Fever’s odds.
Sportsbooks back Minnesota Lynx as WNBA championship favorites
The Fever have the sixth-best odds at winning the 2026 WNBA championship as of 9:40 a.m. Monday, July 27. Below are the title odds from BetMGM, FanDuel and DraftKings, respectively, as of Monday morning.
All three sportsbooks give the edge to the first‑place Minnesota Lynx, who sit as the title favorites with a 22‑6 record, including seven straight wins before the All‑Star break behind the balanced playmaking of 2026 All‑Stars Olivia Miles, Courtney Williams and Natasha Howard.
Minnesota has stayed atop the standings despite being without three‑time All‑WNBA First Team forward Napheesa Collier for nearly the entire first half of the season (Collier only made her season debut on July 22 after dealing with a lingering ankle injury).
The books also don’t show much faith in two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, Indiana and the 16–10 Atlanta Dream, and are instead giving the edge to the championship-tested New York Liberty, who have the best odds among Eastern Conference teams at winning the 2026 WNBA championship despite a 15–12 record.
The Fever opened the year with the third‑best odds to win the 2026 WNBA championship.
Where does Caitlin Clark stand in the MVP race?
As has been the case throughout the 2026 season, Las Vegas’ A’ja Wilson remains the clear favorite in the MVP race.
Wilson, who has already won a record four MVP awards in her career, leads the league in scoring (26.1) and blocks (2.0) while ranking tied for third in rebounds (9.5) and seventh in field-goal percentage (53.3%). The Aces are 18-9 and third in the WNBA’s Western Conference.

Clark and Wilson opened the season separated by a relatively small gap in MVP odds across sportsbooks. BetMGM and FanDuel listed Wilson as the favorite to win the 2026 MVP, while DraftKings gave the edge to Clark.
The former Iowa women’s basketball star is tied for fourth in scoring at 21.0 points per game and ranks second in assists (7.9) and fourth in three-pointers made per game (2.6). Clark has missed four games this season due to injury and had a bumpy three-game stretch playing on a minutes restriction from July 8–15 while returning from a back injury, potentially hurting her MVP chances.
However, she has seemingly bounced back over Indiana’s last three games, averaging 29.7 points and 9.3 assists while shooting over 50% from the field as the Fever have outscored opponents by 19.3 points per game.
