Jenica Lewis has narrowed it down to five.
The 5-star women’s basketball prospect out of Johnston (Iowa) High School has released her top five colleges: Iowa, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon and TCU.

ESPN ranks Lewis as the No. 19 overall prospect in the 2026 class. She is a 5-star recruit per the 247sports composite.
Lewis, a 5-foot-10 shooting guard, averaged 18 points per game while shooting 47% last season in leading Johnston to the Class 5A state title. A key cog with All-Iowa Attack on the club scene has Lewis in position for a big college decision as well.
Iowa had the early foot in the door with Lewis right down the road, but this has become a more national recruitment over time. The departure of Iowa assistant Raina Harmon (head coach at FGCU) has allowed other schools a chance at landing Lewis.
Should Lewis choose Iowa, she’d be next in line on a long list of in-state standouts. Recent names like Caitlin Clark, Hannah Stuelke, Makenzie Meyer and others have gone from Iowa high school basketball stardom to dominating in black and gold.
Lewis, though, will weigh all options carefully. If this top five is any indication, a commitment is coming sooner than later.
