Dining out on Monday nights just got a little easier with a deal that will let you have your steak and sides for a steal.
Bubba Southern Comforts in downtown Des Moines now has a steak night on Mondays, with an 8-ounce prime sirloin with a choice of two sides for $19.
Sides include a petite Bubba salad with buttermilk vinaigrette, Parmesan seasoned fries, coleslaw, pasta salad, Brussels sprouts, garlic buttermilk mashed potatoes, vegan red beans and rice, collard greens with Andouille sausage, or smoky bacon green beans. The pimento mac and cheese can be upgraded with Cajun crawfish for an additional $3. A baked potato can include bacon, cheddar, and green onions for another $2. Asparagus is also available for an additional $2.
Customers can also add Cajun butter or herb-garlic butter for an additional $2, while chimichurri and Cajun Hollandaise can be added for $3 each. A bourbon demi-glace is an additional $5, while crawfish cream or a blackened shrimp skewer are $8 each. Finally, go all out with an Oscar-style steak with asparagus, a crab cake, and Cajun hollandaise for $10 more.

Both come with flatbread, onion, sour cream, and ajvar, a roasted red pepper and eggplant spread.
