Through her cryptic social media activity on Monday morning, Caitlin Clark and Nike appear to have begun the initial rollout phases of the Hawkeye great’s signature shoe, the Caitlin1.
These subtle, yet significant changes occurred on Clark’s Instagram page, as she changed her username to “Caitlin1” and switched her profile picture to an extreme close-up of the material used in her new shoe, which appears to feature a pattern identical to her “CC” brand logo.
While Clark’s signature shoe is expected to be released during the 2026 holiday season, the two-time WNBA All-Star’s latest social media activity has sparked a buzz from fans who believe the pair of kicks could hit the open market sooner rather than later.
The timing of the social media activity is also interesting, as Clark recently said that her Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Eras Tour” PEs would be the final specialized pair of shoes she would debut before introducing her Caitlin1 shoes later this season.
