Iowa women's basketball offers top-ranked, 2027 Wisconsin recruit

Iowa women’s basketball extended an offer to talented 2027 guard Jada Seubert on Saturday.

The 5-foot-10 guard is out of Stevens Point, Wis., and currently stars for Stevens Point Area Senior High School’s varsity squad, the Wisconsin Purple Aces AAU club team, and competes on the national circuit for Team Prime Nation 16U EYBL.

Seubert, who can play both the point guard and shooting guard positions, ranks as the No. 1 player in Wisconsin, according to Prep Girls Hoops’ 2027 Wisconsin rankings.

In her sophomore season at Stevens Point Area Senior High, Seubert averaged an impressive 21.4 points per game on 46% shooting from the floor, 26.9% from 3-point territory, and 82.5% from the free-throw line in 27 games played, with a season-high of 39 points.

In addition to her phenomenal scoring, Seubert also averaged 4.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game, according to Wisconsin Sports Network.

While her high school numbers are well-deserving of the status as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Wisconsin in 2027, Seubert’s recent performance with Team Prime Nation 16U EYBL at the Nike Nationals tournament are even more eye-opening.

In the July 21 matchup against the All Iowa Attack, Seubert would finish with 15 points on 6-for-12 field goal shooting and 2-for-3 from deep to pair with seven rebounds.

In addition to Iowa, Seubert also holds offers from a list of notable college basketball programs, including Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Marquette, and Georgia Tech.
