One of Iowa’s top targets in the 2027 class revealed that he will make his decision on Tuesday.
Four-star receiver Bennett Konkey of Geneva High School in Illinois will choose between Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois and Northwestern. Konkey, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver visited Iowa on June 5.
Konkey visited Northwestern on June 2, Iowa State on June 8 and Illinois on June 12.
Per 247Sports, Konkey is the nation’s No. 238 player, the No. 35 wide receiver and the No. 12 player in the state of Illinois in the 2027 class.
In his junior campaign, Konkey reeled in 41 grabs for 739 yards with nine touchdowns. Konkey had 348 yards after catch and he also threw one touchdown pass.
Iowa is still looking for its first wide receiver commit in the 2027 recruiting class.
