Iowa women's basketball close to locking up No. 2 seed in bracketology

The postseason is nearly here for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Big Ten Tournament is just one sleep away. Iowa gets into action on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT when they take on the winner of the Michigan State Spartans, playing their first postseason game, and the Illinois Fighting Illini, who took down the Wisconsin Badgers in their postseason opener.

Iowa is looking more and more locked into a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Women’s Tournament, which is going to see postseason basketball return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena once again. If Iowa can handle its opening game, it could be playing with house money the rest of the tournament in the semifinals.
