After dropping a 95-80 loss on April 30 to the Dallas Wings from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever close out their 2026 WNBA preseason slate by welcoming in the Nigerian national team tonight for an exhibition matchup.
Despite Caitlin Clark recording a game-high 21 points against the Wings on Thursday night, the former Hawkeye had a bit of an injury scare after hitting her kneecap hard on what would eventually be ruled a Flagrant 1 foul on her early third-quarter 3-point attempt. Fortunately for Indiana, Clark appears to be okay and is not listed on tonight’s injury report.
While this is the third and final 2026 preseason exhibition for Indiana, it gives the Fever another chance to make final roster evaluations and determine which in-game strategies work before the regular season tips off on May 8.
