Caitlin Clark authored her latest chapter in the basketball history books.
With her second made 3-pointer during the Indiana Fever’s Friday night contest against the Seattle Storm, Clark knocked down the 200th 3-pointer of her professional career, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to 200 made threes.
Clark made her 200th 3-pointer in her 74th career game, which breaks the previous record mark of 81 games set by Katie Smith with Minnesota from 1999-2001.
Clark wouldn’t stop there. It wound up being a night to remember for the Fever superstar.
Clark finished with a new career-high 45 points on 11 of 18 shooting, including 6 of 10 from 3-point distance to lead the Fever’s 110-107 victory over the Storm. Clark added 10 assists as well, registering the first-ever game in WNBA history where a player recorded 45 points and 10 assists.
Clark and Indiana are back in action on Saturday night as they welcome in the New York Liberty (13-11) for a 7 p.m. CT tipoff on CBS.
