ST. JOSEPH — A 5K and 10K run and walk on Saturday, July 19, will follow a scenic course with views of Silver Beach, the St. Joseph River and the Lake Michigan shoreline.
But it has a virtual option, too, which can be completed on your own from July 19 to 27.
The YMCA of Greater Michiana is hosting the race to benefit the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph YMCA’s annual campaign, providing financial assistance for memberships and programs to local children and families in need.
The race will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Margaret B. Upton Arboretum, 401 Water St.
Registration through July 17 costs $35 and $40 after that. Virtual racers will also receive a printable bib. For more information or to register, visit ymcagm.org/RaceYMCA.
