It will be the second year in-a-row that a Notre Dame football star will be on the cover of EA Sports College Football video game franchise, with running back Jeremiyah Love being on it last year.
Early this weekend the leaks of what the games 2027 version cover will look like, and cornerback Leonard Moore will be featured on the deluxe edition. He’s one of the more recognizable faces of the sport, and many expect that he will have another All-American type season this coming fall.
Not only that, it was revealed which players will be rated highly, and Moore will be the highest ranked defender at 97 overall rating. There is only one player with a higher rank, Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (99), but Indiana offensive lineman Carter Smith is tied with Moore.
Provided Moore stays healthy this season, he’ll be in line for the Jim Thorpe Award, the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy.
