Notre Dame sits fifth in one pundit's list for being competitive

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are among the best set-up teams for the next three years.

That’s according to one analyst, at least. J.D. Pickell has Notre Dame at five on his list of the top ten teams that are best set up for the next three years.

The top four are Oregon, Ohio State, Miami (FL) and Georgia. Six through 10 are Texas Tech, Indiana, Texas, Texas A&M and LSU.

If Pickell is right, that’s good news for the Irish — they should be in the mix for a national championship during this stretch.
