Newsom says Trump has directed Justice Department to investigate him

LOS ANGELES, June 15 (Reuters) – California Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday said U.S. President Donald Trump had directed the Justice Department to investigate him, without providing details.

“They have not found a crime – they are simply trying to find one,” Newsom said in a post on X
