The first round of the NFL draft is here, and we will soon find out how many Notre Dame players get selected during the first round.
Currently, the expectations are that running back Jeremiyah Love should hear his named getting called very early, then after that, its up in the air as to who will get picked next.
There have been rumors that another running back Jadarian Price could go toward the end of the round, and there looks like an outside chance that wide receiver Malachi Fields could get taken as well. Draft Has Started, the Las Vegas Raiders on the Clock!
There should not be much surprise at the top of the draft as most expect the Raiders to select Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza. Notre Dame fans for now can most look to see what Arizona does with pick #3 as their interest in Love this week could be because they are trying to bait a team interested in him to trade up.

One of the best running back prospects to come out of college, not just in this draft, but over the last decade, Love is going to make the team who picks him very happy. The versatile back should go inside the top-5 picks, and while that’s typically a rebuilding team, he’s still going to make a big impact.
