State Class D quarterfinal – Windham-Ashland-Jewett (4) 10, Chapel Field (9) 1: At Monroe-Woodbury. WAJ claimed its first Section 4 title, scoring three runs in first inning, six in second and one in the seventh. All-state pitcher Hannah Tuttle struck out 13 Chapel Field batters, walked three and gave up three hits. The Warriors (20-0) advance to next week’s Final Four in Binghamton. For the Lions (8-8), Bella Renwick (two hits) posted a sixth-inning RBI single, scoring Kelly Monahan. Meghan Winter fanned 10.

Section 9 Class D final – No. 2 Chapel Field 16, No. 1 Eldred 9: At Mount Saint Mary College. Winning pitcher Megan Winter fanned seven, adding two singles, a triple and three RBI. Abigail Spanjer had a single, double, triple and six RBI for the Lions. For Eldred, Sydney Furler had two singles, a homer and two RBI and Emma Bisland three hits. Giada Donato fanned seven in the setback.
Section 9 Class AA semifinal – at No. 1 Valley Central 4, No. 5 Warwick 3: Adrianna Ferraro scored on an Eleanor O’Neill single for a walk-off win. Samantha Hall hit a game-tying homer in the sixth and Mackenzie Hinspeter had a two-run double for Valley Central. Emily Sharpe got the win. For Warwick, Amanda Larsen had a single, double and RBI, Emily Gulick three singles and Gianna Ricco a double and RBI. The Vikings will face Minisink Valley in Saturday’s final at Mount Saint Mary College.
Section 9 Class AA semifinal – No. 3 Minisink Valley 10, at No. 2 Goshen 1: Aubrey Rotolo homered twice and drove in five runs. for the Warriors (17-4). Emily Smith won a four-hitter as Minisink seized a 3-0 first-inning lead and banged out 12 hits. Hannah Ringus had three singles, a double and RBI and Lyla LaBarbera had a single, double and two RBI. For Goshen (16-5), Leila Colon had two singles, Anna Mayo and Olivia Jordan (RBI) doubled and Bailey Gomulka singled. Addison Freiberger fanned four in the loss. The Warriors will face Valley Central in Saturday’s final at Mount Saint Mary College.
Section 9 Class A semifinal – at No. 2 Marlboro 3, No. 3 Port Jervis 1: Marlboro scored twice in sixth inning to snap 1-1 tie. For Port, Abbey Montalvo had a double and RBI and Payton Thompson and Kira Tigue had singles, Madison Dobbs won an eight-hitter, fanning three. The Dukes will face Saugerties in Saturday’s finals at Mount Saint Mary College.
Section 9 Class A semifinal – at No. 1 Saugerties 8, No. 5 New Paltz 4: The Sawyers seized a 5-0 lead in the third inning. Emily Cogswell had two singles and two RBI, Alanna Mower and Celina Vail each had two singles and RBI, and Sophia Tiano and Lauren Stinemire each had a single and RBI for Saugerties (12-8). Alaina Conrad fanned six for the win. For New Paltz, Madison Braren had a double and two RBI and Anna Maiale a double and RBI. For New Paltz (11-8), Madison Braren (2 RBI) and Anna Maiale (RBI) each had a double. The Sawyers will face Marlboro in Saturday’s finals at Mount Saint Mary College.

For Kingston, Amelia Blazek had the hit and Isabella Turzik fanning six for the loss.

Section 9 Class B semifinal – At No. 1 Spackenkill 9, No. 4 Dover 5: Spackenkill did not report the game. The Spartans seized a 7-0 lead after three innings. Addison Whitted had a double, two singles and two RBI, Aliyah Brady had a double and three RBI and Cadie Hanaburgh had two singles and two RBI. For Dover. Cadence Tetor and Charlotte Adams (double) each had two hits and Jolie Green had two hits and two RBI.

Cate Farrell had two singles, a double, homer and four RBI, Anna lawless a single, double and triple, Morgan Owen two singles and two RBI and Sam Falsetta a double and three RBI for Burke (14-3). For Tri-Valley, Avery Carrier tripled and fanned eight in the loss. Caitlyn Monell had a double and three RBI. Burke will face Pine Plains in Friday’s finals.

Emily Smit had a homer, two singles and two RBI, Audrey O’Neill had a two-run single, Adrianna Ferraro (triple), Shannon Hamilton and Eleanor O’Neill (double, 2 RBI) each had two hits and Samantha Hall had two singles and a double for VC, which will host Warwick in Thursday’s semifinals. For FDR, Rylee Armstrong scored and Jacqueline Sweed fanned four in the loss.
Section 9 Class AA quarterfinal – No. 5 Warwick 3, at No. 4 Rondout Valley 0: Emily Romig had three singles, Amanda Larsen and Autumn Levine doubled and Abi Walsh had the lone RBI for Warwick, which plays at No. 1 Valley Central in Thurday’s semifinals. Meghan Tennant fanned nine for the eight-hit win.
Section 9 Class AA quarterfinal – at No. 2 Goshen 8, No. 7 Wallkill 1: Goshen pulled away with four runs in fourth inning. Marley Northrup and Sophia Springer each had a hit and three RBI. Addison Freiberger allowed six hits and fanned seven for win. The Gladiators will host Minisink Valley in the Thursday semifinals. For Wallkill, Ariana Reyes had a hit and RBI and Emma Hunt took the loss.

Taylor Castellani had a two-run homer. Two singles came from Kiera Del Salto and Onyeka Okasi (2 RBI). For Saugerties, Ava Stinemire doubled and had an RBI and Liv Fyffe had a single. Alaina Conrad took the loss.
MHAL championship – Pine Plains 2, Marlboro 1: At Saugerties. Pine Plains (16-1) wins first MHAL title since 2016, scratching out a run in top of seventh inning. Emma Alford had game-tying RBI double in sixth inning. Eliza Baden, Anna Essery each had two hits. Talia Durant fanned 11 for the win. For Marlboro, Sam Maleck lost a nine-hitter, fanning seven. Katie Mohl had a double and the Dukes were held to singles by Kiera Del Salto, Olivia Hite and Taylor Castellani.

at Burke Catholic 11, Rockland 0: Sofia Ortiz won a one-hitter, fanning 18. Morgan Owen had three hits and three RBI, Anna Lawless had a hit, four runs and three steals and Kiera Pembridge had a hit and two RBI for Burke (3-0). For Rockland, Alex Potosek doubled.
Eldred 10, at Tri-Valley 4: Olivia Gonzalez (double, homer, 4 RBI) and Chelsea Potter (RBI) each had three hits for Eldred (1-1). Emma Bisland fanned seven for the win. For TV (2-2), Avery Carrier had a double, triple and three RBI, fanning seven in the loss, and Grace Deyo had two hits.

Madison Gravel had a double, two singles and three RBI and Parker Mullarkey had two hits and RBI for NFA. For Kingston, Addison Fabiano had a double and two RBI and losing pitcher Isabella Turzik had two hits and fanned three.

For Monticello (0-2), Madison Taggart gave up 18 hits in the loss.
Tri-Valley 11, S.S. Seward 2: At Rock Sports Park. In a Div. V game, winning pitcher Avery Carrier fanned 17 and tossed a three-hitter, adding two singles, a double, triple and four RBI for TV (2-1). Brea Sheeley had two RBI and Caitlyn Monell (two singles) had one. For Seward (0-2), Emerson Dazi homered.
