SOUTH BEND — The Ireland Road Pavement Project begins Monday, June 8, with crews milling and paving between Ironwood Drive and Miami Street.
The Ireland Road Pavement Project is a road paving project spanning 2.8-miles of Ireland Road from the western city limits to Ironwood Drive.
Paving between Ironwood Drive and Miami Street is expected to be completed Friday, June 26, weather permitting.
The city says Ireland Road will be open to traffic during the project, but drivers should expect major delays and should likely plan a different route.
