Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell is retiring from the NFL, per CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.
Campbell spent four total seasons in Indianapolis. The veteran recorded 983 yards and five touchdowns across his four seasons on the Colts’ offense.
Originally a second-round selection by the Colts during the 2019 NFL Draft, Campbell navigated injuries during his time with the team, appearing in only 15 games over his first three seasons, before playing in 17 games in 2022.
The former Colt flashed his potential on numerous occasions throughout his time in Indianapolis, which included averaging 16.2 yards per catch in 2021, but Campbell ended up playing elsewhere after his four-year rookie deal with the Colts expired.
Campbell signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants during free agency in 2023. The veteran would then spend the next two seasons in Philadelphia and Dallas, but appeared in only six games.
He won a Super Bowl with the Eagles during the 2024 season.
The talented route runner has officially decided to hang it up following a seven-year career in the NFL, totaling 123 receptions for 1,117 yards with six touchdowns.
