Former Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly is retiring from the NFL.
Kelly made the announcement on Friday in a social media post.
“10 seasons,” Kelly wrote. “What an incredible ride it was. I was blessed to be around some of the greatest people this sport has to offer. I always wanted to leave each place better than how I found it and with that I can hang my hat. Forever grateful for my family and brothers! Cheers.”
Kelly was a former first-round pick by the Colts in 2016 out of Alabama. He would play nine seasons in Indianapolis, making the Pro Bowl four times. In 2020, Kelly was named a second-team All-Pro.
According to the Colts’ team site, Kelly gave up only 14 sacks during his tenure with the team.
This past season, Kelly left in free agency, spending 2025 with the Minnesota Vikings, where he made eight starts.
Kelly finished his 10-year NFL career, making 129 starts.
