It was a big win for both Notre Dame football and lacrosse when Dylan Faison committed to the Irish, and it got even better news on Thursday.
As a football player, the 5-foot, 11-inch and 170-pound wide receiver is ranked as the No. 948 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite. It’s a much different story for the lacrosse team, as Faison is the top player in his class according to National Lacrosse Federation.
The elite athlete shared some big news on Thursday, as Faison announced that he will be enrolling early, and will play lacrosse in the spring for the Irish according to Inside Lacrosse. A chance to play with his brother Jordan probably played a part in his decision, and you have to wonder how he’ll juggle spring football added into the equation.
It will be interesting to see how Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman handles the situation, but as we all know, he’s not at all foreign with his players to compete in another sport during their time in South Bend.
