Does it get any more American than this?
The Independence Day weekend tradition returns to Buchanan, Michigan, this week, with the main event taking place on the holiday itself Saturday. And with America celebrating its bicentennial, it should be one of the more memorable RedBud events of all time.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of pro motocross’s return to southwest Michigan.

6 p.m. – gates open
Thursday, July 2
10 a.m. – amateur practice
Friday, July 3
8 a.m. – amateur racing on the pro track
7 p.m. – amateur racing on the night track
10 p.m. – fireworks
Saturday, July 4
8 a.m. – pro practice (main qualifying races from 9:50 – 11:05 a.m.)
12:30 p.m. – opening ceremonies
1:15 p.m. – pro motos (250 class moto #1 from 1:15-1:50; 450 class moto #1 from 2:15-2:50; 250 class moto #2 from 3:30-4:05 with winner’s circle to follow; 450 class moto #2 from 4:30-5:05 with winner’s circle to follow).
7 p.m. – amateur racing on the night track
10 p.m. – fireworks
Sunday, July 5
8 a.m. – amateur racing on pro track
RedBud motocross track ticket information
A general admission ticket for Saturday is $79.48 (includes tax) for adults ages 12 and older, and $38 for children aged 6-11. Children under 5 enter free. There are several ticket options available on the RedBud website, including multi-day passes and camping parking lot options. They can all be found on the RedBud website.
How to watch RedBud Pro Motocross National
Can’t make it in person? The streaming service Peacock will be airing the pro action on Saturday. They will broadcast the qualifying races starting at 10 a.m., then the motos at 1 p.m.

Who leads in 2026 Pro Motocross standings?
Here is a look at the top riders in the 250 class and 450 class standings heading into RedBud weekend.
250 class top 10: Levi Kitchen (Washougal, WA); Jo Shimoda (Suzuka, Japan); Julien Beaumer (Lake Havasu City, AZ); Cole Davies (Waitoki, New Zealand); Seth Hammaker (Bainbridge, PA); Ryder DiFrancesco (Bakersfield, CA); Kayden Minear (Western Australia); Nick Romano (Bayside, NY); Chance Hymas (Pocatello, ID); Caden Dudney (Des Moines, IA); Carson Mumford (Simi Valley, CA) – Dudney and Mumford tied for 10th in standings as of June 25.

2025 RedBud Pro Motocross National recap
It was a clean sweep for Jo Shimoda in the 250 class last year, winning both motos to claim the title for Honda.
The same went for Jett Lawrence in the 450 class, sweeping both motos to beat his brother, Hunter, for the overall title. Both Lawrence brothers ride for Honda as well, making it a successful day for the company.
