A Princeville man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for sexually assaulting his teenage relative.
Jordan W. Gibson, 21, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old relative in December 2024.
Gibson assaulted the girl in her bedroom while she was putting away her laundry, pinning her to her bed while her family decorated for Christmas. Gibson’s DNA was found on multiple places on her body, according to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office.
