Popular Peoria restaurant prepares to take a short hiatus

PEORIA – A family vacation is on the horizon for Jerusalem Restaurant.

The eatery will be on hiatus from Jan. 19 through Feb. 3. It plans to reopen on Feb. 4.

Situated at 2027 W. Farmington Road, Suite B, Jerusalem Restaurant reached its 10-year anniversary in 2025. The menu features dishes such as falafel, chicken shawarma and lamb kabob.

Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. The eatery is closed on Tuesday.
