The ophthalmology practice Bond Eye Associates will permanently close both its Peoria and Pekin offices effective Friday, June 27.
“We are grateful for the trust you’ve placed in our team over the years,” the practice posted on its Facebook page.
Bond Eye Associates initially announced the closures in May 2025, citing rising costs and financial challenges. The practice opened in 1981 and had locations at 6800 North Knoxville Ave. in Peoria and at 725 N. Fourteenth Street in Pekin.
Bond will securely store patient medical records for two years after closure in compliance with legal standards.
