PEORIA — A 2 a.m. liquor license subclass has been granted for a new dining and multi-use concept opening in Downtown Peoria this summer.
The Peoria City Council previously gave site approval for liquor sales to The Vault, which will operate in an underground location at 240 Southwest Jefferson Ave. across the street from the Peoria Civic Center.
The approval granted by the City Council on May 26 will allow the bar and restaurant, which hopes to open by August, to remain open until 2 a.m.
Father and son duo Knute and Beau Landry are opening The Vault in the underground space that was once home to Lindsay’s on Liberty.
The location will operate as a private, members only space during the day before opening to the public in a “curated, controlled format” for evening services.
