Where to watch FSU softball vs. Stanford: Time, TV channel on Friday

The No. 7 Florida State Seminoles softball team is set to play the Stanford Cardinal in the ACC Softball Tournament on Friday in Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. It is the semifinals of the tournament, and the winner will advance to the championship game.

FSU (47-8, 21-3 ACC) is on a four-game winning streak after beating Georgia Tech 2-1 on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets took a 1-0 lead in the third inning before FSU rallied to earn the win. Anna Hinde tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the third before Bella Ruggiero drove in the winning run with a hit by pitch in the fifth.

The Seminoles are the No. 1 seed after winning the ACC regular season championship for the 19th time in program history. They have won eight out of the last 11 tournaments, going 81-22 all-time and outscoring their opponents 478-193. They last won the tournament in 2023.

Stanford (37-12, 18-6) walked off the Louisville Cardinals 6-5 in the eighth inning on Thursday to advance to the semifinals. Stanford had nine hits in the game, drawing eight walks and striking out four times, hitting .263 with runners on and .273 with them in scoring position.

The Cardinal swept the Seminoles earlier in the year, handing FSU their only conference losses of the season. It was a hard-fought series, with Stanford winning 9-8 in Game One, 7-2 in Game Two, and 6-5 in extra innings to complete the sweep. FSU now trails the all-time series 2-4.
