A garbage truck accidentally dumped its load while on Interstate 10 in Leon County, but the mishap didn’t cause any lane closures, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The Waste Pro vehicle lost its refuse the afternoon of July 28 heading westbound on the interstate, near the Capital Circle Northwest exit, a spokesperson said.
Details were few, but the spill was limited to the shoulder of the roadway and required no lane closures; state Department of Transportation workers were assisting in picking up the trash, FHP said.
