As the 2026 track and field season rolled on, local prep athletes racked up records, medals, and state dominance across track and field events. Dozens of local athletes earned top-eight placements at the state championships in Jacksonville, making the Big Bend one of the most recognized regions in the area.

It was a remarkable year for local athletes, and now it’s your chance to voice your opinion.
