The Trader Joe’s popular and very colorful tote bag collection continues to grow.
Recently the popular grocery store chain, with two locations in Southwest Florida, introduced a new lime green 8-gallon reusable insulated bag — the newest color in the specialty grocer’s bag lineup.
Founded in Pasadena, California, in 1967, Trader Joe’s is famous for selling mostly store-brand products at low prices, a fun “island theme” store look, and friendly workers who wear Hawaiian shirts.
Where are the Trader Joe’s location in Southwest Florida?
There is a Trader Joe’s in Naples, the first to open in SW Florida and another one in Fort Myers.

Trader Joe’s large, insulated bags: What to know
Although they are not as popular as the mini canvas totes — or even the large or micro canvas totes — the large insulated bags command the highest retail price. As with other large insulated bags, the lime green bag costs $8.99.
The mini-totes Trader Joe’s releases can sell out within a day or even minutes depending on the location.
The hype (and cult-like following) surrounding Trader Joe’s totes dates back to March 2024, when the accessory became so popular that customers waited in long lines and sometimes fought each other to get their hands on them.
While the canvas totes can double as fashion accessories, the insulated bag is strictly utilitarian and is designed to hold cold items such as frozen pizzas, ice cream, cheese and dips.
Trader Joe’s bag collection: What’s next?
Other new bags that are in the works for Trader Joe’s include new pastel micro canvas totes and an “I Love Trader Joe’s” mini canvas tote.
Trader Joe’s also recently released a new striped mini canvas tote, which has since sold out.
