MASON − After a soggy qualifying that featured several weather delays and two days of action-packed days of first-round action, the Round of 64 is here at the Cincinnati Open, beginning on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Some of the top stars in tennis will take the court at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Saturday looking to advance to the Round of 32.

From the ATP, Novak Djokovic will play in his first Cincinnati Open since his thrilling run to his third career Rookwood Cup in 2023. Djokovic highlights the Center Court action during the day session while World No. 3 Alexander Zverev, another former Cincinnati Open champion, will play on Center Court in the night session.

On the WTA side, top-ranked American Jessica Pegula (No. 3) will start what she hopes to be another deep Cincinnati run. Pegula fell to Aryna Sablenka in the 2024 final. From a local perspective, Caty McNally will face Anna Kalinskaya on Tony Trabert Stadium 3 (day session) and Peyton Stearns matches up against Clara Tauson on Center Court (night session).

WTA breakout star Alexandra Eala begins Cincinnati Open

WTA No. 20 Alexandra Eala, a 21-year-old from the Philippines, has opened up a 3-1 first-set lead over Elena-Gabriela Ruse on Tony Trabert Stadium 3. Eala is one of the rising stars in tennis having reached the Round of 16 at Wimbledon before winning the WTA500 DC Open earlier this month.

When does Novak Djokovic play at the 2026 Cincinnati Open?

Novak Djokovic, who has won the Cincinnati Open three times, is the second match of the day on Center Court. Djokovic will play ATP No. 50 Thiago Agustin Tirante, a 25-year-old from Argentina. It is the first career meeting between the two.

The Djokovic-Tirante match is after the WTA opener between Zeynep Sonmez and No. 9 seed Amanda Anisimova. Sonmez currently leads in the first set, 2-1.
