Lighting up the night, SpaceX crews sent two Falcon 9 rockets into flight during a roughly 3½-hour span during an overnight launch doubleheader Friday, Nov. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 15, from the Cape.
SpaceX’s twin Starlink missions clocked in as the 97th and 98th orbital rocket launches of the year thus far from Florida’s Space Coast, extending the ongoing annual record.

The first rocket took flight at 10:08 p.m. from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, while the second lifted off at 1:44 a.m. from adjacent Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Looking ahead on the Eastern Range calendar, SpaceX is targeting a Tuesday, Nov. 18, evening launch that is slated as the 99th of the year from the Sunshine State.
That Falcon 9 launch window lasts from 6:29 p.m. to 10:29 p.m. at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and the rocket will lift 29 Starlink broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit.
