Ryan Harless has been named the Bay County Baseball Player of the Year, as voted on by a panel of coaches and media members.
The University of Louisville commit dominated on the mound this season, posting a 10-1 record with a 0.41 ERA. In 67 innings pitched, Harless recorded 121 strikeouts and tallied seven games with double-digit strikeout totals.
At the plate, Harless batted .398 with 33 hits, 13 runs scored, 18 RBI and one home run.
Coach of the Year: Bryan Normand (Bozeman)
In his first season leading Bozeman, Bryan Normand maintained the program’s tradition of success.
The Bucks shared the county title with Mosley, captured the Class 2A-District 1 championship, the program’s 12th district title and extended the school’s playoff streak to 19 consecutive appearances. Bozeman also finished with a 20-7 record, marking the program’s third straight 20-win season.
