FSU gets multiple predictions to land blue-chip safety target

The Florida State Seminoles are working diligently to land 2027 four-star safety Ta’Shawn Poole. He was on campus over the weekend for an official visit, and he ended up cancelling his official visit to the Miami Hurricanes that was scheduled for June 19.

The battle is down to FSU and the Tennessee Volunteers, who hosted Poole for an official visit on June 5. Both schools have made strong cases, but according to Chad Simmons of Rivals, Florida State is trending as he and Steve Wiltfong have logged predictions for Poole to commit to them.

After official visits to Tennessee and Florida State, the Seminoles are gaining momentum for four-star safety Ta’Shawn Poole.

Family connections, the staff’s recruiting approach and the overall vision laid out in Tallahassee have positioned Mike Norvell‘s program well entering the final stretch. Tennessee remains firmly in contention, but Florida State leaves the weekend with the slight edge.

This is actually the third prediction for FSU to land Poole. On Sunday, Brendan Sonnone of Noles247 made a crystal ball prediction for Poole to Florida State.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is eyeing early July for his commitment date. He mentioned that he sees himself as a fit and a leader at FSU. So, we’ll see if the Seminoles can close him.

Poole is the No. 73 prospect in the nation and the No. 4 safety per Rivals’ industry rankings. He’s also listed as the No. 6 recruit in the state of Georgia.
