The FSU Seminoles hosted over a dozen prospects on their official visit over the weekend, and they are already seeing the results. Defensive lineman Wihtlley Cadeau joined the class on Sunday, and Mike Norvell and Co. are hoping to add several more players from the group to their 2026 recruiting class.
One of their top targets on campus was four-star wide receiver Brandon Bennett, who is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was his second time visiting Tallahassee this year and one recruiting expert believes they are in a great spot with him.
On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for the Seminoles to land Bennett on Monday, saying they are “the team to beat.” His prediction gives them a 57.8% chance to land him in On3’s recruiting prediction machine.
Bennett is the No. 250 overall player and No. 42 wide receiver in On3’s industry ranking. The 6-foot, 165-pounder is also the No. 37 player from Florida.
FSU might be the favorite, but they have some tough competition for Bennett, who has a top three of the Seminoles, Florida Gators, and Georgia Bulldogs. He is set to officially visit Florida next weekend and has already taken his official visit to Georgia.
The Seminoles already have two wide receivers committed in Efrem White and Darryon Williams, but new wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr. is looking to sign a large class. Bennett’s elite speed makes him an ideal fit in Gus Malzahn’s offense, which wants to take deep shots through the air.
