Sarasota Police responded to calls of gunshots in the Booker High School parking lot at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday, July 18.
The department announced the response in a social media post.
Police said there’s no reported injuries and that officers had secured the scene.
Sarasota Police do not anticipate further updates for the rest of July 18.
Police say this case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Sarasota Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 941-915-4307 or Sarasota Crime Stoppers at 941-366-TIPS (8477).
