FSU baseball will be well represented at the 2026 MLB Draft Combine. Major League Baseball recently released the list of participants for this year’s MLB Draft Combine, and seven Seminoles were among the players invited to attend.
Florida State’s representatives include pitchers John Abraham, Trey Beard, Wes Mendes, Bryson Moore, and Cole Stokes, along with outfielder Brayden Dowd and first baseman Myles Bailey.
The MLB Draft Combine, held annually ahead of the MLB Draft, brings together many of the nation’s top draft-eligible prospects for a week of medical evaluations, athletic testing, interviews with major league organizations, and on-field workouts.
FSU’s seven invitees reflect the talent assembled by head coach Link Jarrett’s program and come on the heels of another trip to the postseason in Tallahassee. The Seminoles’ group features several players who have generated significant draft interest throughout the spring.
Mendes entered the season as one of the top pitching prospects in college baseball and continued to elevate his stock during the year. Bailey, meanwhile, remained one of the nation’s most productive power hitters and has been viewed as one of the top draft-eligible bats in the ACC, despite his season-ending injury.
Beard and Moore helped anchor Florida State’s pitching staff, while Abraham served as one of the best relievers in the sport, and Stokes has some impressive potential. Dowd emerged as an important contributor in the Seminoles’ lineup and routinely had the best at-bats.
