The FSU softball program landed two of its top targets in the transfer portal this offseason, but they have missed on a third. Former Oklahoma Sooners outfielder Tia Malloy has signed with the Arizona State Sun Devils, the program announced on Thursday.
Milloy played in 91 games with 16 starts during her two seasons with the Sooners and will have two seasons of eligibility with the Sun Devils. She is a career .295 hitter with nine home runs, one double, and 35 RBI in 88 at-bats. She improved her numbers across the board in 2026 and looked like an ascending player that the Seminoles could have added to their outfield.
The Woodinville, Washington native hit .353 with four home runs and 22 RBI in 34 at-bats, finishing with a .706 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage in 2026. She worked six walks to seven strikeouts and stole four bases.
She is ranked as the No. 28 overall player and No. 8 outfielder in the transfer portal. She has a 91.00 grade and was the fifth-highest uncommitted prospect.
While FSU missed on Milloy, they did add infield transfers Nicole Edmiaston and Ella Dodge. They are also set to retain nearly the entire outfield from last season, with only Addie DeLong moving on.
