Another member of FSU’s 2027 recruiting class has officially shut down his recruitment. Three-star quarterback Logan Flaherty took to social media to announce that he was locked in with the Seminoles, becoming the latest recruit to do so.
“If it wasn’t known already here’s a post to make it official. 1000 % a Nole ,” he wrote in the post.
He is the sixth member of their recruiting class to announce their recruitment is closed, joining four-star wide receiver Sean Green, four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro, four-star linebacker Jernard Albright, three-star linebacker CJ Ohuabunwa, and three-star safety Jemari Foreman.
Flaherty committed to FSU on May 19, picking them over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, USF Bulls, Memphis Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Port Charlotte native has been locked in with them ever since, helping add several exciting pieces to the class.
Since he committed, Florida State has landed nine new commits, including its three-highest-rated players. Flaherty is ranked as the No. 753 overall player and No. 41 quarterback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 63 player from Florida.
He had a productive junior season at Port Charlotte, completeting 60.8% of his passes for 2,636 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also ran for 595 yards and 11 touchdowns on 140 carries. He has played in 35 games during his career, and his senior year will be his third as a starter.
