Six months after plans for a Five Points shop first surfaced, Ben & Jerry’s is finally opening in the historic retail strip.
The Vermont-based ice cream company — known for signature flavors like Cherry Garcia, Chunky Monkey and Phish Food — has opened its Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop at 1027 Park St., between Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza and EZ Eats by Yaya.
The shop is the third in Northeast Florida, joining locations on historic Saint George Street in St. Augustine and at 295 Pine Lake Drive at Nocatee.

In addition to its signature scooped ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s offers a selection of sorbets (Berry Berry Extraordinary Sorbet and Lemon Sorbet), sundaes (Banana Split, Cookie Cookie Sundae, Mini-Vermonster and more), shakes (Cookie Cookie, Half Baked, Strawberry Cheesecake and more), smoothies (Berry Mango, Berry Nice, Strawberry Lemonade), and even something for your pup: Pontch’s Mix, a frozen dog treat with peanut buter and pretzel swirls.

When is Ben & Jerry’s in Five Points open?
Ben & Jerry’s is open daily from noon to 10 p.m. with later hours on Friday and Saturday. A grand opening celebration is planned for July 4.
